Deluge Music is a Los Angeles and Nashville-based Publishing, Management and Record company. Opening its doors in 2015, Deluge has become home to hit and developing songwriters with cuts by artists including Rod Stewart, Little Big Town, Walker Hayes, Rascal Flatts, Ashley McBryde, Keith Urban and more!
Emily Dryburgh is the Creative Director and Nashville face of Deluge Music! Her duties include managing and/or developing 7 writers and artists between LA and Nashville, which includes setting up co-writes, tweaking, cataloging and pitching songs. She also oversees demo processes and focuses on building, developing and maintaining relationships with other publishers, managers, labels, writers, producers, etc. in the Nashville music industry. Prior to Deluge, Emily previously worked in artist management, handling “day to day” and development for Grammy, CMA and Tony award winning artists in the Country, Bluegrass and Gospel genres.
For This Promotion
Emily takes monthly meetings with multiple labels in town and is looking for hit songs to add to the Deluge Nashville catalog!
She is open to any tempo, “down the middle” male and female country songs with broad appeal that she can pitch to multiple artists. Of course, anything special that feels like a hit is always worth a listen!
Also, Emily is looking for songs for rising country artists Madeline Merlo and Smithfield, who are signed to the Deluge label!
Looking for great up-tempo, contemporary, down the middle country songs. Must be age appropriate (not married or divorced, no kids, etc.). Also looking for “song of the year”-type material! Smithfield consists of a boy and girl duo who are not dating. Sonically, Smithfield is similar to Lady Antebellum, Dan + Shay, Sugarland, etc.
Contemporary Pop/Country Canadian artist signed to Open Road Records! Mid 20’s. Looking for tempo smashes! Madeline loves a great hook and lyric! Think Kelsea Ballerini meets Maren Morris. Nothing too “vanilla” and open to edginess! Again, songs need to be age appropriate – not married or divorced, no kids, etc.
